Mr. Ismail Taiwo Busari was appointed as Librarian I on April 18, 2006, with his position confirmed on April 18, 2008. His foundational education began at Chief Agbaje Memorial Primary School in Ibadan (1974–1980), followed by Igbo-Elerin Grammar School, where he obtained his W.A.S.C. (O’Level) in 1989. He earned his National Certificate in Education from Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu-Ode, in 1988.

He pursued advanced studies at the University of Ibadan, where he earned multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education/Political Science, a Master’s in Archival Studies and Records Management (1997), a Diploma in Computer Techniques and Applications (1997), and a Master’s in Library and Information Science (2004).

As a committed scholar, Mr. Busari has authored numerous books and presented at a variety of academic conferences, contributing significantly to his department, college, and community. His professional affiliations include membership in the Nigerian Library Association (NLA), the Society of Nigerian Archivists (SNA), and the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).

He has served as the Acting College Librarian since April 1, 2021.
