Mr. Adegboyega Johnson Oladipupo graduated with a B.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt in 1986, later earning an M.Sc. in Zoology (Fisheries and Hydrobiology) from the University of Ibadan in 1990. His secondary education was at Abiodun Atiba Memorial Institute, Oyo, from 1975 to 1980. To enhance his ICT skills, he obtained a Diploma in Computer Applications in 2005 from the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ado Ekiti in 2010.
He began his career at Oyo State College of Education, Oyo, as Lecturer III on May 13, 2002, with his appointment confirmed on May 3, 2004, before transferring to the Lanlate Campus in 2006. Rising through the ranks, he achieved the position of Chief Lecturer in the Biology Department, School of Science. In his administrative roles, Mr. Oladipupo served as coordinating Head for various departments and as the substantive Head of Biology. His committee service includes roles as Chairman and member of multiple committees, such as the Research and Publications Committee, Campus Timetable Committee, and Christian Community Building Committee. Additionally, he held positions including Acting Director of Internal Quality Assurance, Deputy Dean (2012-2016), Acting Dean (2016-2018), and Dean (2020-2022) of the School of Science.
He has written numerous conference papers, published journal articles, attended conferences and workshops, and supervised many projects. On September 6, 2022, he was appointed Acting Deputy Provost, a position he held until January 3, 2024, when he became Acting Provost.
